Abstrak:

Make to order (MTO) based companies should be able to minimize order execution time. It is necessary to develop an estimation method which able to take the machining time and setup time into accout. The estimation method also should be able to minimize order execution time simultaneously. Error when estimating the time of completion of the work order delivery lead time delays that effect the queue workmanship other components that would cause delays in delivery time on other components. This research aims to give proposal at selecting the best routing of operation planning using linear programing method and to observe the best time in using ATC in order to gain efficiency. The approaches that used in this research are by obsevation on existing condition and by analyzing precendence contrains of part so the obtained information could be converted into routing sheets so then associated parameter cost could be defined. By using the method of routing selection, MTO based companies are expected to carry an estimated completion time work accurately with minimum total cost that is Rp. 724.728,00 where previously the cost of Rp. 784.111,00.
